More Children Needed at SOS

Every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. Welcoming of yet other children at SOS children’s village Maseru was a great joy on Thursday 20th. But this time around it is different because we gained two precious twin girls. Mothers and sisters residing at SOS children’s village Maseru gave the little princesses such a worm welcome so much that everybody wanted to hold the girls. They were dancing and ululating in excitement.
Children are so adorable and we are humbled to be raising the stars of tomorrow’s future.

THE BRAVE DO NOT ABANDON THEIR FUTURE

On the 16th of May 2021, SOS Children’s Village was celebrating a cultural day in Maseru. Culture is the total way of life that people in the society are blessed with. Culture is the characteristics of a particular group of people, defined by everything from language, religion, social habits, music and arts. Through culture we are governed by norms and customs, which are the pillars of any society. If these pillars are not properly followed in our society, our culture will resemble a perfume with no smell. It’s a gradual existence of presenting those norms and customs to people who surround us through music, dances, arts, crafts, food, dressing style, languages just to mention a few. Therefore, SOS Children’s Village is no exception from the community, it is still governed by cultural norms.
