JOIN US FOR BUILDING A BETTER WORLD

At SOS Children’s Villages, we are deeply committed to the well-being of children throughout their formative years. We also focus on strengthening families and communities as a proactive approach to preventing child abandonment and social neglect.
As part of our social responsibility efforts, learners from Grades 1, 2, and 3 at SOS Hermann Gmeiner Primary School visited Scott Hospital in Morija to give back to the community. The children brought thoughtful gifts including diapers, newborn clothing, face towels, soap, and toothpaste.
These gifts were distributed to new mothers in the maternity ward, those attending check-ups, and children admitted to the hospital. To uplift the spirits of the recipients, the learners also performed various activities such as choir singing, traditional dances, mokhibo, and mohobelo.
In a heartfelt message of appreciation, the hospital matron expressed her deep gratitude, noting that words could not fully convey how thankful they were. She highlighted that the donations would be especially helpful, as the hospital often receives newborns without the necessary resources to care for them.
Additionally, the learners received valuable health education focused on hygiene, further enriching their visit with important life lessons.
